I believe Cathy Wurzer's Tales of the Road: Highway 61 is the first companion book I have ever read. The companion happens to be a documentary that aired on Twin Cities Public Television on March 23, Unfortunately, I did not watch it because I was in the dark about the book and the documentary. Tales of the Unexpected (Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected) is a British television series that aired between and Each episode told a story, often with sinister and wryly comedic undertones, with an unexpected twist ending. Every episode of series one, eight episodes of series two, and one episode of series three were based on short stories by Roald Dahl collected in the books No. of episodes: (list).
